Things have changed for the better at Stapleford Abbotts Golf, since new owners took over in 2019.
Previously owned by Crown Golf Operations Limited, infrastructure, course and hygiene has been high on the list for the new owners. There was a lot of improvements needed; in particular the kitchens weren’t up to scratch, which even resulted in prosecution in 2017.
The new owners Phil & Rita Newman, along with their family have certainly made changes for the good, winning a 5* Food Hygiene rating within months of taking over. Visitors to Stapleford Abbotts can now enjoy a varied menu in the Blue Room Club House for Breakfast, featuring Club favourites, light bites and the new Healthy Choice menu.
Overlooking the picturesque 18th Green, Stapleford Abbotts is an ideal venue for Weddings and Celebrations and guests can choose from carefully thought out mouth-watering menus. The three beautiful event spaces; The Willows, The Blue Room and The Barn can accommodate up to 150 guests. The event spaces are available from just £300 for Parties, Dinner and Catered events.
Stapleford Abbotts is also proving popular for Meetings, Conferences and Day Time Events in The Willows and offer an hourly rate for local businesses.
