The Club is situated in the charming Stapleford Abbotts countryside where it provides the ideal location for a relaxing game of golf in tranquil surroundings. The Abbotts Course with its mature trees, plentiful water hazards and generous fairways will be a test for the proficient player yet enjoyable and compromising for the social golfer.

The closing hole Par5 measuring 513 yards is certainly testing for golfers of all abilities with it's greenside pond, which collects it's fair share of stray shots from those ambitious golfers looking to hit that perfect shot and impress fellow golfers overlooking the 18th green while they enjoy and relax in the charasmatic setting and surroundings of the clubhouse. The traditional, barn style clubhouse was constructed in the 17th century and offers panoramic views over the 18th green as well as providing an abundance of character and charm.

Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club has 2 excellent 18 hole courses offering very different tests, the Abbotts Course and the more forgiving Priors Course (Option for 9 holes only on the Priors).

The par 72, 6,501 yard Abbotts Course was designed in 1989 to exacting USGA specifications by distinguished golf course architect, Howard Swann.

The Priors Course is a par 70, 5,871 yard 18-hole parkland course that offers an alternative set of challenges, sculpted with manicured fairways and greens.

All members of Stapleford Abbotts can pre book tee times up to 12 days in advance of when they wish to play this can be done here.

All new members receive a whole range of complementary privileges and a handicap specific integration process. So if you regularly play golf and want to improve your game, becoming a member is extremely beneficial.
