The Club is situated in the charming Stapleford Abbotts countryside where it provides the ideal location for a relaxing game of golf in tranquil surroundings. The Abbotts Course with its mature trees, water hazards and generous fairways will be a test for the proficient player yet enjoyable and compromising for the social golfer.  The traditional, barn style clubhouse was constructed in the 17th century and offers panoramic views over the 18th green.









 
Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club has 2 excellent 18 hole courses offering very different tests, the Abbotts Course and the more forgiving Priors Course (used for 9 holes).

 

The par 72, 6,501 yard Abbotts Course was designed in 1989 to exacting USGA specifications by distinguished golf course architect, Howard Swann.

The Priors Course is a par 70, 5,871 yard 18-hole parkland course that offers an alternative set of challenges, sculpted with manicured fairways and greens.

 

All members of Stapleford Abbotts can pre book tee times up to 12 days in advance of when they wish to play. All new members receive a whole range of complementary privileges and a handicap specific integration process. So if you regularly play golf and want to up your game play, becoming a member is extremely beneficial.
